i must admit i have the rengade version of this and this looks a little neater as it runs up pne side as opposed to mine which runs up the two but a few other things to consider are
1 the rene system comes as a semi full ie_ they doctor your downpipes to do a 2 into 2 will this just be a slip on shotgun link pipe ??? 2 the underseat area for suspension travel is greatly reduced obviously because of the cans in the way rene give you dog bones to rectify this and an undertray mine hasnt the doggy wooffers as with a gixer shock you cant get them on aswell and its just too much and looks like a hot rod but on full tilt caning it i am slowly caving my rear hugger to oblivion the rene version is very fiddly to set up and again mine on the chain side my bike sits high and the chain catches at full travell on the left hand pipe so chain tensioning is a regular must or you`ll just wear through it ( the link pipes that is ) this one wont as they both run offside |

Update! Good news and bad news
Bad news first, the version pictured above won't fit the SK4 nor is there currently a version that will fit BUT Just got off the phone with GPR Racing in Germany. They are designing and producing their own systems for the SV's. They have done a full system for the SV1000 and are now going to do a 650 one Same design as the Italian one 2->2 full system with link pipe, both pipes coming up the offside, but more fully welded and using round S/S cans. Once into production they reckon around 1000 Euros for the lot Oh, it will be designed for numberplate to go between the cans and no suspension restriction. So really a high level twin rather than an underseat twin and fully road legal with removable baffles. Hope you don't mind me going on about this I want one and I haven't even go tmy bike yet Picking it tomorrow (hopefully) I'll try not to drop it or add to the casualty list |
