Visted Paris a couple years ago and i'll second what the others have been saying. The traffic is crazy.

On the other hand, a bike mag did a road test to Paris, including a few lap of the Peripherique (sp), a while back and they all came back in one piece.

Didn't Ghostrider, or somone like him, film an extremely quick lap of the Peripherique? Maybe you could search for the video to give you an idea.

Best time to visit Paris is August as it it closed then. Seriously the traffic halves for the month

The worse car driving is a little offset by a greater respect for motorcyclists however in a lot of europe.
