That's "hlaf_lyfe"'s bike. Also known as "half_lyfe" on bikechatforums.com.

It's been crashed, which totally destroyed the front end and most of the plastics.

The original engine detonated when he let it run out of oil, so that's a new engine in there too.

None of this was done through insurance though, he repaired it himself, so it won't show as a write off.

Knew i had seen it before, just 100% sure I had seen it as crash damaged, yet the Tw*t mentioned nothing about it in the Ebay advert!

We, personally, wouldn't touch it with a bargepole. Really think you should have been told it had been crashed and had an engine replacement.

In our experience, re-sprayed paintwork is never as durable as OEM either.

the bodywork isn't a problem, I work part time at a bodyshop and can get it resprayed properly and baked on for little money.. it's the mechanical side I'm worried about

Personally I would get your deposit back , the second I saw the twin renegades I knew it was Half Lyfe`s bike , he`s ragged it . And this is why you shouldn`t do deals outside of eBay with regards to large mechanical things , your screwed for any protection now I`m sorry to say . I hope you can get your money back man , if you decide to go that route .

Insurance wise , try direct choice , they have been the cheapest for me for the last 3 years
