I've been 3 times since it opened.1st time was a bit slippery, that was in Feb, other two were fine. No probs with grip at all. I'm running PIRELLI Diablo rosso corsas. Front slipped a tad in the wet, but I had knee down on the hairpin which wasn't clever. One of my top locations now. Can't wait to go back

Going tomorrow at a club MSV event

Wasn't to sure because of the forcast, but the rain should have cleared and its going to get better as the day goes on

Well what a great day I had yesterday, great weather, I'm bleedy knackered today

It was suposed to be a novice only track day



Hopkins & Kirkham were both there testing for Sunday, Hopkins is tiny, nothing to him. Kirham's pretty tall, thankfully they didn't ride with my group

Finally managed to get my left knee down, not once but 3 times on the new harpin. Didn't quite manage the right one.

Pretty happy as I'm only running Metzeler Z6 road/touring tyres, with no lack of grip even from cold, but the new track is much better than when I rode it in April. Plus 2nd time round I knew the track and didn't have any moments, like the last time.

Do u guys ride to the track? The only reason I've not been to a track yet is cos I'd want to trailer or van it there so if I do bin it, I can still get it home. And I guess its pretty addictive

I've done 2 track days at Snetterton this year and ridden there both times. I don't have the option of trailering my bike there and nor do most of the guys who do track days.

In both events, only 3 bikes went down and they were all rideable after they'd bin binned.

I'd buy a Fixerpeg from DavieSV just to use on the gear or brake lever if that got broken.

Trailering the bike there would be nice, as its a tiring day riding there and back, plus riding the track.

I've got my snetterton track day coming up this Monday! First ever track day and looking forward to it loads! In the novice group of course, fingers crossed it goes well and I don't make a mong out of myself.

You'll both enjoy the new track, if you haven't ridden it before.

You won't end up looking like a mong, so long as you keep out of the way of the real mongs
