The National Trust site at Great Langdale is worth a look. It is in a beautiful location and has three pubs within falling distance. I think its about £14 a tent.

pretend your off on exercise... just take the bear essentials...
tent, doss bag, roll mat, warm cloths, gautex till endex, boil in the bag food, hexie blocks, mess tins, a crate of lager... towel, toilet paper... etc

problem is with a small bike the beer takes up alot of room and my camel back can only hold 3 litres :O:O
i reckon we are going to need a fair few packs of noodles, cheaper than boil in the bag and if in doubt im sure we can go to the pub...

ye i found out the hard way a few years ago when i did my duke of edinburgh with pot noodle, never touched that filth since

and i am also not much of a vodka drinker anymore... bad things happen with vodka...
but as it stands there is at least four of use to carry the load so it might not be too bad, one of my mates has a topbox
