Why do bridgestone never do free trackdays lol

MSV are damned strict on noise limits for some reason, every MSV track I have been too the test every vehicle and give you a sticker.....no stick means no track time.

mine was tested @ 102dB at brands last week with an akra stubby with no baffle.

I have a feeling mine will be too noisy, normally tests in at around 103/104, just inside the race noise limit of 105.

I'm going to test at home as I have a noise level meter and if its borderline I'll nip down to Oulton with it and get it tested beforehand.

Apparently they are only allowed two track days per week, one at 105dB and the other at 102dB. The 105 day is the day before this one with Hottrax.

Free track day for Pirelli owners so loads of Pirelli owners show up and shred a set of Pirellis so they need to buy... more Pirellis!

+1. It'd cost near enough £60 in petrol just to get there and back.

I dont get it. Starts 9 and 10 for intermediates. 3 sessions - but time says it finishes at 4pm??

I wonder if its possible to extend for the day... and if you have 2 bikes with 2 sets of pirellis on - can you book twice

Is def a long way for just 3 sessions.

I'm guessing it's 6 groups total with 2x novice etc... so a group will have 20 mins track time every two hours.

Never look a gift horse in the mouth!

So its 60 quid in petrol to get there? That still makes it FREE to go on the track It'd cost 60 quid on top of your £160 for a full day anyway!

Even buying a set of Pirelli race scrubs on Ebay and going its still good value. Picking the brains of the Pirelli guys that are there and finding out where the best deals are (I talked to them at Knockhill last week.)
