The truth about websites:

Those designed on a WYSIWYG editor more often than not, look better than those that have been coded by hand.

Bottom line is the person looking at your site really isn't going to care how you made it, but will if it looks/navigates like sh*t!

Extra code created by WYSWIG really doesn't cause any real loading overhead.

I use Dreamweaver for the mind-niminlg y boring bits, and then customise the PHP, CSS etc with textpad. (Or another tool for css that I can't remember what the name is)
