Re: Great memories and funny moments of the AR
Seeing the grins on peoples faces when I handed them a can of beer as they were getting off their bikes.
A field full of smiley faces even though it was raining. Sitting at the front of a pack of 70 odd bikes and then realising there was a police car in front of me. Sitting at the back of a pack of bikes watching everybody in front of me exploring new roads. Seeing the smiles in everybodies eyes as they rode past me whilst I waited to get on the back of the pack after the last fuel stop. Getting p*ssed with some old friends and making some new ones. The huge feeling of relief that the weekend had gone fantastically well, even better than I had hoped it would The sheer number of people that took the time to come and say thank you.

Re: Great memories and funny moments of the AR
Here are my greatest memories and moments of the AR-
- Meeting my long lost twin, was a pleasure and it is good to know that my geneology is superb at organising stuff. - Sosha thanking me for the can of larger and the side stand puck. - Meeting all the new peeps I hadn't seen and also seeing old faces and friends again. - Hovis......enough said. - Seeing the effect that orgers have on the new and slightly shy members. (Wideboy for one. Was very nervous, but after the Carling on Saturday.....different boy altogether) - All those who made the effort to turn up though they didn't do the ride. - Finally, my favourite moment of the AR was the fact that we all had fun, all smiled and all came away feeling better for it.

Re: Great memories and funny moments of the AR
Just remembered an epic fail on the M6 on the way home
Picture this..... 4x4 has left the mway, missed the hard shoulder, and half way up the embankment. Next to it is a tree At the other side of the tree there is his caravan, upside down, with the back door open and all his belongings hanging out. It made us all snigger profusely, great driving on the guys part, for getting the car right way up, but the caravan, .....there was way tooooo many of them on the road anyway!

Re: Great memories and funny moments of the AR
Many memorable moments if it wasn't for my mushy old brain muddling things up and forgetting vital facts!
I'm assured I had a good weekend though so thanks to ALL those involved in organising and running the AR, and to all those who turned up, without you all I'd have had to enjure Kate to myself all weekend!!! *runs and hides somewhere she'll never find me!*

Re: Great memories and funny moments of the AR
When we were all in the BBQ tent and these little people appeared, so I gathered some up and pushed in the queue, so they would get fed first....a mum can never switch off!!
Also there was rather a lot of big people in there, so I spent a while talking to Gid Junior, who kept looking up at all these long legged people with a frown, its rather strange staring at the backs of peoples knees. He was a lovely kid, in fact all the kids were very well behaved, super all of them, and how cute was Tiny Gid, she was soooo cute
