Have you changed your fork oil ? I changed mine for some proper 15W fork oil and it's like a whole new front end for handling compared with whatever the Pi** thin stuff they factory fit or was in. I use Smith&Allen oils. I only use ,"All Balls " seals on older bikes as they have an extra skirt that helps prevent them leaking if there are any small scores on the forks. They are the only ones that cured fork seal leaks on my old CX500s I used to run.
