people think im mad because i can easily spend 8-10 hours in march at night on a beach miles from anyone, heaven for me

I'd prefer to be with people, but if I am alone I dont feel the need to sekk out company. Perhaps it's an age thing.

Im happy either way to be honest... When im at base im by myself for days (other than seeing my work colleagues).

Im quite particular when it comes to friends as well to be honest.

I love socialising! If I have an option of being on my own or being with people I'll always choose people. Plenty of time to be on your own so I say socialise when you can, it makes you meet more friends and more interesting people. That said, the older I get the more misanthropic I get, which I suppose is a little contradictory.

i prefer my own company, but i think thats only because i spend lots of time socialising. if you know what i mean. if i was alone in the world, no friends or family i'd hate it, but as i live with somebody have family close by i dont get the chance to be alone often so love it when i am!

im sure i could have said that easier, quicker and less boring!!

I cant handle crowds, even people I know, I can't do it. I get wound up or grumpy, or just withdraw into myself. Can't go to a busy supermarket, hateshopping etc, parties are hell..

I do wish I wasnt like this though. As such I'm perfectly happy being alone or with the girlfriend.

my brother in law is like this....wow he is like a madman in a supermarket...proper rage and anxiety....he has some kind of extra strong mints to have when he gets like this...and they help apparently...

I'm quite happy in my own company. In fact I need to have some time on my own, otherwise I go bonkers. I do like company but it has to be with people I feel very comfortable with or a small group.

I can cope with a night club for a couple of hours, but dont make me go shopping in Tescos when its busy or I will loose the plot.
