Re: SV650 Trackbike
Is it worth the longer bottom clevis or just go for shorter dog bones?

Re: SV650 Trackbike
If your running the Ohlins where do you have the ride height adjustment set to?. Its best to keep the weight distribution on the geometry pretty flat as possible ie 50/50 so if your not running max ride height, use that setting first. Its also more preferable to run the ride height up with the forks at the stock height. The carbed bike also does run well with the shorter linkage and make adjustments on the ride height to suit, IE you may not want to run it on max if your running the dog bones.
Hope that makes sense, am typing in between sorting new race bike orders! |

which is pretty low. +1" rear on the dogbones and going for a GSXR600K8 frontend. Annoyingly I've only been out on it for <1 trackday since fitting the ohlins and not had time to play to set it up, first time out did a few sessions in the damp, went to adjust the ride height and discovered this broken bush! Then next trackday managed 1/3 of a day on the NC35, 1/3 day on the SV, binned the NC35 and broke my collarbone. Bah. Thanks Druid

Re: SV650 Trackbike
I have not done the sums on the linkage. Does this make it more linear?
