I like KG's biking idea, unusual. But also something that you would never normally contemplate doing would be great. Tandem parachute jump!!! no way do a solo it is much more fun and more of a challenge.

i like the idea of a motorcycle ride and i am sure that if you did a uk wide one then the org members would have a spare bed each night for you and some company on part of your route.

sponsored swim of some sort (sits back and awaits the smutty comments about Wozzle in a bikini )

Thank you all for your PM and messages I am overwhelmed.

I had decided on a parachute jump but then 2 police friends said they would do also, but that in turn would collectively be approx £750 paid for the jump that the foundation could benefit from.

Someone suggested being blind for a day, this is a possibility and one I am going to discuss with my 2 colleagues. it would only work if I was.in public eye for the day, t shirt with foundation and org logo on maybe a day trip with a cash tin for donations as I go.

still deciding but thank you for your support..... I am moved and any donation, big or small is great x x

My first static lines were all traditional round parachutes. Bugger all steering ability beyond pulling toggles to collapse a bit.

Learning to land/roll and 1000,2000,3000----check canopy. Look, pull, punch for the reserve.

brave is your second jump as you then know what is coming. But even more fun. Oh and cheaper.

Not bad doing them out of an Islander at a couple of thousand ft. But the military out of a low balloon, they must be mad. No time to recover a fail.

Seems like ages ago this was being discussed - a lot has gone on in a week.
Have you made decision yet as to what you're going to do? If you've got a number of options, you could always create a poll and let the Org decide!
I guess it might also point you to which option would generate the most cash for the cause, which seems to be a big factor in your mind (from your comment regarding the parachute jump).
