I know this is a bit basic but theres a method to puttin in plugs that I find really effective. If theyre put in really well I cant believe anyones going get any ear ringing cos I cant hear a thing (I use em at work n thats loud!). Here goes - with the opposite side hand you grab hold of the middle of the back edge of your lug and pull backwards and outwards quite hard. Then the plug, which has been rolled up as small as possible with the fingers (clean) of the other hand, is neatly slotted into the earhole and before it expand is pushed until flush with it using a finger. Obviously dont go pokin it in too far or itll be a visit to the doctors but if its not flush with the end of the hole its not 100% effective.
Hope this helps

Just spotted this, i have an S1,

It is a brilliant helmet, very quite and extremely comfortable - ridden in all weathers and for an 45 mile commute each way every day.

Anti-fog isnt very good, but they now do pinlock.

I found comfort comparible with an RX-7 Arai when i tried them back to back at the bike show.

Quality is excellent.
