Diff lock on, and reverse out? Set to mud and ruts?If it got that far in, should get out.

There's no "Diff lock" it's all electric. And I did have it on "Off Road Ride Height" and the diff was set in "Muddy ruts".

It's just the tyres.

It's a shame we are getting them really. It all came about when some bosses saw an X5 unable to manoeuvre in the heavy snow at traffic HQ last year. They decided Disco's were the way forward. Slow, bad handling, and with bling road wheels that are u/s in the rough.

Should have gone for Freelanders instead, less lardy, and they don't get stuck.

Yeah it should have electronic diff lock.(not sure on d4 but most d 3 did)
Had ap go with d3 off road on road types and it managed ok, but a set of all terrain would help a lot.
Do you guys not get off any off road training from the land rover experience centres?

I know my d2 would have got out of there.

SIII refers to the series 3 land rover I trial.
