Re: Chain and sprocket replacement - what are my options?
Right, have ordered a DID chain and sprocket set for a nekkid SV along with a Scottoiler chain lube system (with free dual side injector whooo) from BikeSpeedUK. So can look forward to getting those fitted when they arrive.
Thank you very much for all your help and comments guys, t'is most appreciated.

you can even put a 46 rear sprocket on for that added pep tbh, if you are not riding a lot of straight A roads, MW's or DC's then its more acceleration you want rather than top end speed. |

Re: Chain and sprocket replacement - what are my options?
Old thread I know, but what’s the chain length I’d need for my 2019 sv650 if I want to +3 on the rear please?
Thanks |

Re: Chain and sprocket replacement - what are my options?
Hi and welcome - the standard gearing on the Gen 3 bikes is 15 / 46 and the chain is 112 links. I think you'd need a 114 link chain, but maybe double-check.
+3 on the rear would make the bike very revvy. |

Re: Chain and sprocket replacement - what are my options?
I'd agree with Craig here. I suggest just one extra tooth on the back would be plenty.

I was thinking plus instead of -1 on front was the same?
