The actual figures I have no idea, enough that you get the old can off and think "f### me, what do they put in it" At least a kilo saved at a very conservative estimate, more with the baffle out

If a slip on was heavier (for which it would have to be made of depleted uranium and packed with lead) then it would still be worth it just for the sound

My Daytona has the factory high level carbon can fitted, it's offensively loud in an ear-splitting manner, especially at high revs, but I've never had a problem with the law.

When finances allow (post christmas - I have 4 kids) I'll be buying a Fuel can for my SV.

The Quill T3 stainless steel can I fitted to my Gixer thou was 1.5 kilos heavier than the standard titanium one.

Yes but we're on about the SV

Would you like me to go down to the garage and weigh the standard one?

(I can't be bothered really, so just take my word for it)

The sound yes there's a serious difference, the standard one sounds absolutley carp, like a sewing machine or a generator lol.
Stick a fuel can on it, and you'll love the noise. They're not offensive with the baffle out, mines never had it in lol.

Performance wise, nah, probably flow a little better but not massive.

Mine's a fuel can on the end of a micron stainless system, cut down about 5"

That does sound good

My Fuel on the SV sounds great - not too loud, but at least you can hear the engine.

Must put the baffle back in as the MOT is due next month!
