I think there might be showers, don't know if I'm having a senior moment but I've seen them at some track and I think it's mallory

If you do trigger the meter then they'll black flag you and give you a chance to sort it out. If you do it again then it's normally home time. Check with the organizer what the limit is for the day, but I'm fairly sure it's 98db on a weekend, in which case if you've a noisy "race" or otherwise modified can then you will fail. Take a baffle with you, or an alternative can to avoid disappointment.

I wouldn't worry mate, some of the track bikes I've heard that were far louder than I suspect yours is.

to give you an example i followed smudge last night on his speed tripple with his triumph can and he couldnt here his bike at all and i was following

The only track day I've done was at mallory and I loved it.. It was pre the adjustments to the track though.

Dis a track day there in April, first one ive done and loved it! as for noise they never mentioned it and there was loads there that where well noisey!!

love mallory park. it is awsome! spend the front half of the day sussing out your lines nice and relaxed then up the pace slowly bit by bit. was there a few weeks back and they actually said there wasnt a limit on noise, but i wouldnt wanna turn up on anything over 105 either way! very few garages, not many power sources! great vibe about the place.

Was that on a week day or weekend? There's a huge difference between 105bd (race cans) and 98, (pretty much road legal).

Andy mine was fine there last november and it was baffle-less. If that's any comparison for you? (It was measured at 102db IIRC at cadwell_
