I love the Poly 26 lowers, i don't think there's anything else that comes remotely close in the whole seperate lowers thing. The really do make the OEM/TCP ones look as horrible as we all secretly knew they were in the first place When you compare the join between lower and upper, you see how it should have been done.
But seperates are still always a compromise really... A full fairing will always look less like it's got a bit bodged on, since, well, since it doesn't have a bit bodged on. I do like the Poly 26 tail, but the other one's got that OEM + look about it which is rather nice. Subtle chances can be good.

I prefere the kompo-tech full fairing because it looks and is more racy than the other one + I can keep my frame slider, which is at the same place as there. I don't think you can put one with the poly26 lowers, I don't see any good connections...
But the poly26 is idd the best lower I've seen untill know, thta's for sure... Does somebody know more or less the price to paint it? At a spicialised shop and when you do it yourself? I have a friend who has such a installation to paint body work (he just bought it) so I can use his I hope. Does anybod know the prices for the paint, I think you need 3 layers, the first layer to start, then the paint and to finish to protect the paint (how is it called...)... greets |

2 Wheel Junkie also do a full fairing kit for the curvy....although it is somewhat more expensive
I like the look of the Kompo-tech one, certainly looks very smooth. MT

The 2WJ one is lovely, but as you say, pricey.

If one is present, it has to work. It's not a legal requirement for one to be fitted, by my reading of the MOT regs, but whether or not removing one from a homologated model is legal or not, seems to be a little open to debate.
