Unless the 5 is something special, I'm leaning towards Samsung this time around.

oh dear the cat is out of the bag and it doesnt look good.. I think innovation went with Steve Jobs. No nfc, smaller screen but new a6 cpu. Now if the battery life was 7 days it would be a game changer

Cant wait for samsung, google to do a music store and sort out contact less payment and withdrawals from cash point machines.

Mmmm, I'm not an apple fan but jeez, 0.5" bigger screen (still no where near as big as some) and faster processor....oh nearly forgot aluminium case woopy do. Thy boast about a panoramic camera mode, the Galaxy already has that!

Shame the OS looks exactly the same!

So its an updated version of my 3gs which is now three years old and has never missed a beat. Great i'll take it, never had any problems with it. Don't feel the need to hack it and steal other peoples music, movies or software as it's simply a phone and will work, great.

Am I missing the point? All of my music is on itunes now and it all works so i'll just upgrade. Probably even get some money back for the old phone too.

I think the updated version of the 3gs was the 4 .. says alot when the 3rd version is still only marginally better that the first and still charging top dollar and requires new accessories because they changed the charging port..

Gullible apple users...no way they just have deep pockets.

I have looked at photos of the iPhone 5 on Apple, erm, it looks like an iPhone 4 but they have upgraded the processor to try and keep up with the competition, I don't get it. Its also rather funny how they are using the retina screen still as its built by Samsung, so its basically a smaller Samsung Galaxy S 3?

Don't you think 3 years is a good innings for a phone though? I literally used to have about 9 - 13 months out of my old phones before they would fail. Apart from my motola brick but who wants a phone with 12 hrs standby time, lol. I think they are a canny product but apple have become victims of their own success now and will soon begin a sharp decline as you can't just keep put readily available tech in new boxes forever, even if it does last a long time.

In contrast to this I have a macbook pro and i'm not keen on that, but i got it for free.
