You'll get used to it, I dont know what yours is like, but the one on Liz's 749 bends and flex's when you put the bike onto the stand, I dont trust it one little bit.

I've read a few horror stories about the stands on the older Dukes, I cant remember which model it is but they automatically flick up once the weight is off the stand. Just be careful with it.

Ditto. I was looking at a yellow 748R when I changed bikes last year. Absolutely stunning looking bike. Still want one, but still love the R6.

Same with an MV Augusta. A chap let me have a sit on his Senna model and I thought I had put it back on it's side stand, when I stood up and it dropped another inch Thought I was about to drop it
