Well done on quitting. You don't see that many tobacco company reps on the cancer ward, do you. Shows how completely cynical these people are. They put vast profits before people's health and always manage to worm out of liability.

I quit three years ago after smoking for almost 25 years.

Even now though I stll sometimes get an urge, but the whole concept seems completely alien to me now....

It gets easier in time, I can now have a beer and not think about smoking at all and that was the most difficult bit.

Now I have a small chuckle to myself when I see people huddled outside a pub tabbing away....

I was so long ago I can't remember... but I still have the feelin' when I see other people smoking.

So I eat instead... can you tell?

I have stopped 2 days ago and am a nervous wreck at the moment. After smoking for over 30 odd years and I was on 40 to 60 a day.It is not that easy. I have no clue if I can keep it up. But congratulations to all that have made it.

I stopped the day I bought the SV (and passed my test), I thought smoking money would be better spent elsewhere. That was over 5 years ago. Bad news is I started smoking again 2 months ago for no particular reason other than I've always felt like a smoker who just was not smoking rather than a non-smoker!

Oh well, I'm quitting this weekend for sure
