Bit of gaffer tape and a couple of cable ties... sorted. But it's pointy, so best to let it die with dignity.

Glad you're not too badly hurt, might be a pain in the wallet next insurance time though

Sorry to hear about this, you are very lucky to escape with just a broken thumb Rai. At least your bike is covered under the insurance and hope it gets sorted quickly so you can get back out there. GWS, Foxy

Bikes can be replaced or fixed relatively easily.

Its not always the same for our fragile bones & bodies, so I'm glad you only suffered from a broken thumb, bumps and bruises, nothing worse.
