Default Re: Front brake fluid reservoir from 'S' model

Sorry for being rubbish

Will this do?

Bracket is designed to be mounted on a naked Z750, so goes onto the mirror mount, so you may need to make some modifications. Oh and the silver bit at the bottom is an allen bolt, not a rivet so should be simple to bodge a bracket.

If you want it, PM me your address.

You can pay me for the postage in beer if we ever meet up

David

Hey as everyone's doing it:

And here's the back of the mount. You'll see that there's a small plastic lug which locates in the first hole, and the whole thing is held in place by a small bolt that secures into a plastic lock nut.

thanks Ed. I reckon that would fit an SV no bother, handy for future reference.

You know, I've never really noticed before but I think these fluid pots might be standard fitment rather than OEM specific components. I've seen a few from SVs, Eds from a 675, one in work on a Triumph Tiger and the one SoulKiss mailed over from a Z750. They are all identical.

Why re-engineer the wheel

The lever mount on the Z750 master cylinder broke which is why I swapped it for an integrated reservoir one, which I think looks better on a naked bike - I swapped it for one off of a naked curvy

Bits are bits and if they work........

Glad it got to you ok
