gah....men........ you need, a sheet of A4, a black marker, a tank bag, and some important points from google maps for reference chalked on said sheet of paper in black marker, in clear plastic pocket on tankbag

A phrasebook may be optimistic. Call ahead to the consulate in Leeds and see if they can book you an interpreter for the duration.

Just ask people to speak reeeeeaaaalllly sllloooooowly, I'm sure you'll be able to pick up what we're saying.

no need for passport, we're not that far North, although Dave Preston is border patrol, so its up to him if we let you in

Tony, the whole reason I live in the south is to educate you lot on the correct pronunciation of the English language. I would like to think that my time has been well spent and you should at least be able to order a round and pay for a tank of fuel. If you can do that then you should do fine in Gods county.

Also, why are you looking at places to stay, join in with everybody else in a tent or bunkhouse. Darren is trying to get somebody to share his bunkhouse so there is still space.

If, I do manage to go I will probably be camping.
