Yeah, I've seen better designed Lada's. I guess I'll give this a go tonight and then get some of that sealant stuff around where the plug goes in. Do I need to put it anywhere else?

They never sorted the fact that they stuck the Distributor head on behind an open grill on the Mini, and that sold millions. You think that suzuki will ever sort this... i fear not.

Anyhoo, as Big ape says, a fender extender will help loads.
