OK, so who hasnt yet fell off a motorcycle?

12,000 miles in all weather no of yet! But I am sure tthis thread is asking for troubles! I hope I will not join the club soon!

This is just asking for trouble! But...none yet, well not "proper" ones. I fell over once at a stop (sloped ground) that didn't do anything except snap off the end of the gear lever.

Also I fell off once on the other side, at maybe 1mph, it was last year around October and I came round a corner and had to brake sharply for the van that was stopped in front of me (was checking over the shoulder to pull out and had it in my mind it was clear) and the front end lost it as I came to a stop (not sure if I was too grabby or anything). That didn't do anything - laid down again rather than dropped - so no damage. And that is it so far...done almost 10,000 miles since I passed in April '06 so not too bad going I think.

many years ago called at a mates house where he greeted me wearing a surgical neck collar.being the sensitive soul i was back then, i burst into laughter saying"you will never see me in one of those"{famous last words}.2 weeks later i had a high speed m/bike crash and broke my neck in 2 places.the moral of this story BE CAREFUL WHAT U SAY even in jest.

I've had one off at low speed not wearing my proper gear. I've also had one off at high speed wearing my gear. Both were definately my fault.

That's in the last 31,000 miles. So I suppose I'm not doing badly, and haven't had an off in around 8months.

Not many have come out of the woodwork with a "I haven't come off..." post.

Sorry i hadn't stated, mine was properly back in March this year so 8 months too

One off and a few drops in about 11,000 miles. About par for the course I reckon!

shhhhhh....I haven't yet, things have tried getting me off but so far they have failed. Want to keep it that way. In four years I've only dropped one twice. One the 125 and one was suzy and she's scared down the left side from it. But so far so good..........ah poo i jinxed me now
