Does actually look a lot better than I'd imagined. Big expense buying a new small gti though. Worth bearing in mind. (lupo is an exception to this rule)

Yeah I know but got an amazing deal with the insurance (one company is a third of the rest (580) and everything checks out and it's a big insurance company). Looks like a lot of fun can still be had in the winter... on a private race track of course!

That wee Lupo was ace... And I could be wrong, but I think it's closer to the size of a Mk1 Golf than the current Golf is, because of Car Bloat.

A bit OT but a chap I work with has a new Seat Leon FR. It's pretty quick but the interior is the most boring, cheap, nasty thing ever! I thought the interior of my old works car (Astra SRi, new shape) was rubbish but it was better than the Leon. And the stereo's rubbish. He's had it two months and wants to get rid of it.

Just my two cents.

Surly you are better buying a cheap TDI to run around in and spending the extra money on a bike, why get a car that does low MPG and is slow to boot, when you can have a slow car doing lots of MPG and a bike which is fast and still doing respectable MPG?

Just dont make sense to me...
