Not entirely related to your question but gloves aint gonna stay waterproof due to the amount of strain put on the stitching, this causes the membrane to seperate and water gets in there making your hands soggy.

I've been using Held everest gloves for a while now and they're ace! I live in Cumbria so regualarly see temps in the minus figures and they've done to job very nicely indeed!

Would not recommend Spada's WP gloves. Bought them a few weeks ago and so far used them twice. They are really warm but at the same time so bulky you can't fell your clutch and controls well enough. They were brilliant when I went for a longer ride on a motorway but when commuting in London they made me loose my confidence as I didn't feel I could control the bike..

I ended up using my summer Frank Thomas gloves with £3/pair glove liners I bought at SnowRock and so far it's been OK on a short commute.

i have spadas wp gloves and theyre great for me warm and as dry as a pair of gloves can get i think martian that youve just got to get used to the feel of winter gloves cant say ive ever had a problem they do give less feel than summers but thats the nature of the beast i think.

You're probably right. I personally just could not risk filtering in London rush hour traffic without being able to control the bike properly.. I'll probably invest in a set of heated grips

I have a 10 mile city commute and was getting by with race gloves and heated grips. Last few days was getting a few numb fingers and I would be screwed if I was having to do distance so........

Bought a pair of Spada WP's cos they appeared to be the kind of race glove/winter glove crossover I was looking for.

Knuckle guards and plenty of protection like a race glove, easy to get on and off quick, easy to get cuffs under my jacket for the SV riding position.
Not too thick and I have fat heated grips anyway so control not an issue.

Also they had a ton of techy labels hanging off them so they MUST be AMAZING.

Bad points (so far), "ENFORCER" is stitched along the fore-finger, unfortunately not the middle finger.

£45 from local bike shop.

ooh just the thread (if no one minds a revival)
Could anyone recommend me a good winter glove, I want something that's actually waterproof and something that's warm (bad circulation). I also want it well made as due to my bad circulation I tend to wear winter gloves most of the year.

Currently I'm stuck between the wideley recommended spada enforcer, and these halvarssons leaning more towards the halvarssons at the mo as I gather they are wellmade kit just hoping they'll be water&wind proof enough

These look well made & waterproof but a bit too pricey

cheers wyrdness, got 3 to decide between now

Only problem now is I can't find anywhere local that stocks the stuff as I always have a nightmare getting good fitting gloves. Nearest halvarssons stockist is harrogate
