I think it was Ride did a back to back test of the GT and the SV (a curvy with a few miles under it too)
The SV spanked it, lighter, bit more power, better build (saying that about the SV #shock#)

It looks pretty nice, but they don't have a good reputation at all. However, I expect that they'll get a bit better each year and one day will surprise us by being as good as Japanese bikes. Just don't expect that to happen for a little while though.

I was speaking to a sales rep at Bats in Bigglens Hill.
He seems to thing thy are ok BUT when you do any mantaince and you will ( more than others ie sv ) you will have to go around checking torque on bolts as they tend to come undone. In his opinion buy an sv as they are not much more , but will last a lot longer and have better build quality. Also what is the second hand market like do the price go down like a boats anchor? |

Nice looking bike. Hopefully Suzuki take the hint and do something about reviewing their own.

But would anyone seriously consider buying one?
If you've answered yes then i suspect you are on crazy pills. ![]() |

They're cheap. I bought an XRX 125M, a sort of a little engined supermotard, for next to nothing and its new. Been ok so far and I'm riding it all the time as it's low on fuel too. Can't do long distances on it really though. The SV feels like a superbike in the weekends after a week trashing the little 125. Can't complain really, its doing the job well and so far nothing fell off.
