Don't bother with a hacksaw you'll be there for weeks, pull the exhaust off and get a grinder to it.

Would love to do that- but I don't have a grinder, innit.

Oh well- a little elbow grease is good for the soul...

You can probably get one for a tenner

It's worth it for the amount of time you'll spend with a hacksaw!

Same here, my toolkit runs to a Woolworths junior hacksaw and i'll be lucky if i can find that given the piles of crap in the shed.

Hacksaw isnt so bad - took me about 20-30 mins, and 3 blades to do the job - just dont unbolt the hanger first - otherwise the exhaust can fall just as you are doing the end bit....also, try taping over the area which you want to cut to stop the saw from moving about till it gets into the groove....

Having said all that, if I was doing it again, I'd get a grinder...

P.S. its the law to start her up without any exhaust at all

Yeah- plus I'd have to get a huge extension lead to get the grinder near my bike (live in a 1st floor flat)- I've alreaddy shellled out an extra £20 on saturday delivery- I don't want to get that pricey on it. Plus I had to shell out on a new battery today. Oh well, as Peter Green said.

Tape- good plan. I've got plenty of masking tape, so no bother there and makes it easy to mark the cutting point.

I'm hoping to get a few movies on the camera- old can, no can and new can, with a bit of me grafting in between. Could make a little movie and EEverything!

Cheers Billy- I'm rather excited. Though I'll have to be patient when It's delivered, as I have to go and get the saw! I think I'll go with some light exhaust seal as well- so of to Halfords and B&Q for me first....

So keep an eye and ear out for me in surbiton, I often go through to get to the total petrol station near portsmouth road

It should be fitted by the time i return for my second semester
