funnily enough I love the elsie very much too, but I refuse to get on it and ride it. Not that I'm intimidated b its reputation of being a wheelie machine or doing speedie gonzalez, its just the seat and tank arrangement are too fat and square. uncomfortable, definately more fer the blokes. I can get both feet flat on the floor and such, just can't agree with it. I lurve my Sv cause I can curl right up on it, or sprawl over the tank on long journeys and feel at ease

1. Rob was correct, SuperDuke 2. GSF1200 Bandit 3. Street Triple 4. Hypermotard 5. Speed Triple 6. CRF450 7. SV... 8. XJR 1200SP 9. ST3 10. Monster 900 So what does everyone think of the list? I would certainly rate the Street and Speed Triples in the top 5, but I haven't ridden the Bandit, SuperDuke or Hypermotard... yet ![]() I agree with our Chemical Brother that the new GSX650F looks interesting, and will be booking a test ride; especially as it appears to be another Group 10 on the insurance ![]() |

![]() For being silly on without doing the silly speeds its ace. I'd still love an RD of some description, I think 2 strokes are like the alfa romeo for bikers, you're not a proper petrolhead til you've owned one ![]()

![]() There's a growing number of normally cynical journos stepping up to be counted in praising it as being much more than just a tarted up Bandit... ![]() |

A true petrolhead doesn't stop at owning one...he keeps going until he decides that having owned 29 Yamaha RD400s and 64 other 2-strokes in total he really ought to think about getting help with his addiction. I know, I should be ashamed of myself ![]() |
