Mmm.... most of the feedback on the Aprilia forum is that a pillion will never be comfortable on one. Not the feedback I was after, as quite a bit of my riding is 2 up, and I fancied trying to get a few more weekends away on the bike this year.

Time to look at plan B perhaps, a Sprint ST....

Aprilia in there infinite wisdom, for the 2007 decided to change the good sized pillion seat with integral grab handles to summit you would get on a SP2. Shrunk the size , lost the grab handles (better than ****-all). WTF?

Rubbish!

Well if you get the ST, you can go away for weeks instead of just a weekend!

Just coz you've got one....

Personally I'm not that keen on the Falco. The Futura might be worth a look however....

I've an RSV-R. The back end of that is exactly the same as the new-shape Tuono, as far as I'm aware. It is NOT comfortable or practicable for proper distances, only short sprints. The passenger pad is small, there's nowt to grab hold of apart from the rider and the pegs are very high because of the upswept exhausts.

Cheers. Though I don't always carry a pillion, I do quite often now take my gf out, and would imagine I may more once the house we are buying together has gone through. I want something I will enjoy, but that will be comfortable enough for us both, guess that sadly rules a Tuono out until I can afford 2 bikes....

I've just found my next bike! Falco is right up my street. What sort of power do they make?

Popular upgrades?
