out of curiosity, why do people go TPFT as it seems pointless to me.

35 mate. But it dropped a lot since last year. It was close to £600. So when they quoted me this time I was delighted. I am now thinking about getting "blade" as the insurance could be reasonable.

Because its cheaper and your premium will only go through the roof when you calim. If i write my bike off, i could probably get it back on the raod cheaper then the premium hike, and extra cost in the 1st place.

Insurance with AXA through MCE.
£1150 fully comp, 0 NCB, includes legal stuff, breakdown cover and other things..
Age 17.
Hopefully next year it goes down a fair bit!
How does the no claims bonus work? Takes off x% per year or something?

at time of taking insurance (last summer) 25, 4yr ncb, £134 TPFT, Fully comp was about £230

At the time I was skint so went with the cheaper option but touchwood I wont rue that decision.
