If only these machines had a bit more wind protection, i'd probably sign up for one tomorrow. I know you can get the aftermarket screens and cowl but I doubt they would offer the same protection as the SV. Ive had naked and found them bloody dangerous at speed as you're too busy concentrating on keeping your head still to worry about whats around you

I'm sorely tempted but October? I'd get it just in time to SORN it for the winter

The only other bike I liked the sound of was the Shiver but I'm not too happy with the looks of it. The Street3 looks the business. Maybe I'll sign up for one in October in time for spring 2009. decisions, decisions

I look at the Shiver and I see exactly how I'd change it... Same as the street triple in fact, those headlights are a disaster. One nice round headlight, one low level exhaust, lower bars, sorted.

whilst I agree it is a very nice baby or trainning Triumph like the 675 Daytona, it's a mere shadow of a true T5

Cheers Mark.

What happened to the tuono you were gonna buy next? Plus didn't you want a Street Triple, then changed your mind and bought the ZX6R which you just got rid of?

green with envy, gizza a go...

my mate has one for sale if anyones interested. hes getting it in about a month, and wants to sell it.
Obviously hes wanting a tad more than the dealers price, but you get a brand new bike without the wait. Drop me a pm or something if your interested.

I will have a Tuono at some point. But now is not the right time. I've wanted a ZX6R and bought one, the reality is that I won't use it enough to justify keeping it. I need a replacement for the Hornet and the S3 is just that.

Besides, I need no excuse to buy another bike.

I'd rather wait 6 months tbh and get a new one. Afterall it'll be 2nd hand and have one previous owner. That said I'm sure someone will pay over the odds for it.

Have you seen the LSL speed triple? I reckon you'd love that. No doubt only a matter of time before they make the same bits (single headlight, dropped clip-ons, rearsets, etc.) available for the street triple.
