A single cylinder sports bike? Interesting!

Looks good, is that the original framework?

Ahhh does it sound like a true single? Thats what my old man used to race so many happy days watching 600-750cc singles in harris/spondon frames bombing up and downt he track.

Ahhh Bret Randells old pinks Harris single, sheer dribble......

Very nice, another excotic, this man is not part of the crowd, he is not a sheep

That is gorgeous! Those Italians certainly know how to style a bike! Let us know what you think of it

I found that MCN review before bying it and then also looked for reviews of other bikes with the same engine. Strange that the only place "punitive vibrations" are evern mentioned is in this review. Maybe the guy has something against singles?

Strange indeed that the very same website says...

"The BMW F650 is a work horse and power house in one, neat package. With loads of torque, there’s powrs [sic] right through the rev range, taking you from town, to country to motorways with relative ease. The BMW F650's smooth delivery makes for easy riding and it’s tried and tested, providing effortless welly. A very reliable if perhaps a little uninspiring motorcycle"

... and gives the engine 4 out of 5 stars when it's in a BMW.

http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/bi...nt/?&R=EPI-129

It can also be tuned to give 90BHP which would be awsome!

Regardless of the above I bought it for "character". It has some.

Saying that, I may have to have some lower footpeg hangers made to actually get on the thing

Anyone know of anywhere that does custom CNC machining?

CNC isn't really necessary, since you're only making 1 of each side, you'd spend longer writing the program than jsut making them normally IMO.
