Sorry mate, I'm no mechanic I've said everything I'm aware of. Only other thing could be a faulty fuel pump or something electrical. I'm afraid I would have to take it to the pro's.

If it is a fuel problem it would sound starved. Ever driven an older car with a manual choke? If you don't give it enough you can hear the engine note saying it isn't getting enough fuel Can't explain it more than that. struggling now though

I think it is the other end of the spectrum, over feeding the fuel. There was a couple of pops and bangs outta the exhausts when sat on the drive being revved. I'm not mechanically minded either, just can't afford a garage atm lol.

Hmph. Have run the fual down low for the first time in a while? Sounds like maybe you have gunk in one of the Carbs. i had it with an old bike... it was a twin though so the lack of power was more obvious.

If the jets are blocked for the higher Supply then it'll stutter and splutter. Try running with the choke on slightly and see if that fixes it at all. If it does then Id say gunked up carb and Unlucky They are a GIT!

Let us know if that does show anything... If it does ill explain what you will need to do

Does it get worse with the choke on?

Try spit on the header pipes, see if one is cold, that gives us a clue between overall fuelling and cylinder specific.

If it's 2 cold pipes, like 1 and 3 or 2 and 4, then its a coil, if the CBRF uses wasted spark, which I'm not sure about.

Start off with a little and see if that helps then slowly increase it and see what effect it has. Youll notice the difference.

When I had the issue before I knew what it was I had to have chalk on full when riding and when I stopped I turned it down to nearly off... Talk about pain in the ****! Didnt have a forum like this to ask the questions though back then

Good luck. Hope it finds you the issue!
