I keep looking at Pirelli Diablo Corsa's or Sportec M3's as inters as both are pretty sticky but with reasonable tread, just never bought any, toasted wets instead!!

One of my mates used to get a van load of 12 lap scrubbed 207RRs from the organisers of the R6 cup, he was flogging them out to us for 50 quid a pair. I ran my Thunderace on them for a year or so - great tyres, but the only great tyre they ever made imo. |

![]() Its all personal preference I suppose! But if someone was to buy some race tyres and had never tried any of the 208s, bearing in mind they are the race variant, the GPs would be the logical choice surely!! ![]() Anyway, unless they are only just sold out now on eBay roundandblack only seem to do the RRs (although they are ?156 inc flymo?) so I presume they are what he has?!?! ![]() Anyway, yeah, lets us know how you get on flymo, but I loved the feedback I got from the 208GPs when I used to race on them!! ![]() Last edited by Blue_SV650S; 01-03-08 at 10:13 AM. |

You've been blathering about D207/8s, not 207/8 'GP's, so I thought you meant the normal crap road version. The GP has the same rubber as the RR but has a pointier front carcass and a different rear carcass more suited track use.
