hmm i don't know if stainless would be easy enough to work.
if you get some etch primer you can put about 1-2 coats on, i'd say 2 to be on the safe side, i'd say put 3 coats of paint on top of that, it seems a lot but if you think about it its going to have all sorts of crap slung at it |

If its any help, you need to print it on A3 paper, in full-size. If you go fit-to-page, it's too big, I think...but A3 paper is the key.

For Vista try saving the image after opening the link, with right click do save as to picture folder.
Open it in Vista with right click, open with and select paint. When you print it will print off two pages, going by the scale on the image it should be correct. |

You don't need A3, just stick the A4 together.
Anyway... Ali powdercoats lovely and lasts better than paint, stainless is a bit of a pig to work with as it work hardens and munches your saw blades. Easiest way is to plasma cut it, but not many people have those in their sheds. Won't be more than a tenner to get it done. IMO get the numberplate /indicator brackets made (use the same plate), rivet them on with a fair number of alloy rivets, then powdercoat over the top of them.
