My local precision engineering company has just quoted me under £200 to make some for my Bimota (from Billet) to my exact requirements. Just a thougth.

I Loved my Gilles rearsets, mainly cause of the looks.

But, they're not as adjustable as they looked. With the brake light switch used I found that it limited the positions to 3 to 4 out of the whole range. Still higher up and further back than standard though.

If I was going to do it again, I'd want to get my hands on (to have a look) some of the other versions out there to see how they measured up, before spending cash.

Team Metisse for the curvy, used to be available through powerbronze or pyramid

I don't think Giles do them for the Curvey any more...

Adjustable because the bike currently has Renthal bars... but will eventually have Clip-Ons with the Gixxer forks.

I had Gilles rearsets on my SV and ZX. Worked well enough, but the ones on the SV were falling appart whe I took them off last year. They were corroding like crazy, the bolts are crap - arguably worse than stock SV ones, and the carbon heel plates were scratched to peices and looked awful. I'd never buy another set, becase there are better alternatives out there.

Oh yeah, you reminded me, the Carbon Heel plates are rubbish on the Gilles! Totally not fit for purpose. Mine were wearing through in no time at all, and as mentioned above, FS's did the same. Now, you could protect them with plastic film .....
