I have a set of size 13 sidi boots, the plain black ones with white logos on the heel- no problems that I've noticed with rubbing though...

I had a set of SMX Plus, they were comfy and did not rub on the frame...

I now have a pair of Super Tech's which feel identical to my old boots and again they do not rub or scratch the frame as they have a leather/suede panel on the inside which prevents all that...

Sidi are good, but some have there flaws from the production line.

I don't know what Sidis are made of but they're better than wet and dry paper, my Vertabras nicely sanded all the finish off my heel plates without showing so much as a mark. To be honest, I consider this entirely my own fault, if you rub things together something's going to wear.

Sidi boots are imported into the UK, and distributed to the dealer network through a company called Feridax.

The normal procedure regarding faults (or potential faults) with their products is to go via a dealer (I'm not sure if Feridax will deal with the public directly).

If you have your receipt, any Sidi dealer can send them back to Feridax for them to be checked over, although it's always easiest to go back to the dealer you bought them from.
