I very much see your point, but I think 2 things make a difference - the colour of the bike and how you stick it on.

I was rather @nal and took the tank off, hairdryer-ing the hell of off everything to get it warm and applying it inch by inch to make sure there were no air bubbles. The result was pretty good! There were no air bubbles and a really good line-up. It took ages, but was worth it. Plus the bike was black. That said, it still wasn't invisible, but in my mind the benefits outweighed the mild fuglyness

I have seen bikes at Rykers that had loads of bubbles and looked awful.

If you get some - take your time applying - I would recommend removing the tank and doing it indoors.

I phoned them last night. I've ordered the snake skin type as I think the high fusion looks a bit like sandpaper! They did say they are expecting material in from the suppliers this week. They were very helpful but didn't seem to know much about bikes! They couldn't understand me when I was saying ZX6R!!!!!!
