I believe that fetching yellow colour is not an option on the go-faster models either.

<heehee>

Buy the one in the best condition. If you don't like the colour, ride it when its dark, or wrap it up in a series of black bags.

Black is a good colour, btw.

The 2004 is going to be slightly taller, it could be a big difference for you

Oh sorry I knew they had reduced the height from a K3, I didn't know it was equal to the curvey I stand corrected, learn something new every day. I've a K3 and when I sat on a curvey it felt like I was on the floor.

Soz if that was bit OTT. Just AFAIK K4+ is similar to curvy ride height My K4 is lowered so probably neither of us are best to comment on a K4

Go for the one which you can afford (including insurance), and is in the best condition. mileage isn't really an issue with SV's as the motors are good!

Welcome to the forum.

A chain and sprockets comes to about ?100 so that shouldn't really sway your decision.

I honestly think the newer one will end up costing you less due to less depreciation over the same period of time. Agree that a combination of chain, tyres, corrosion and major service might well indicate that the older model is the better buy.

I'm sure that must be impossible for almost anything .

Shame about your logic as your answer was spot on
