Welcome to the .org mate. I run Metzler Z6 Roadtecs on my curvey and I've been very happy with them - ride in all weather and they really do inspire confidence.

Exhaust might take a bit more than wire wool and autosol, I did however only buy the bike yesterday so can't be held responsible for its current state

Tyres and chain are the top priority at the moment, the chain has a chronic tight spot, the tyres are mismatched (a Metzeler and an Avon) and the rear tyre is mis-shapen due to the bike having only done 9000 miles in its 9 year life, poor thing is in for a pleasant surprise, I'm no fair weather biker, I've been out riding almost every day for 15 of the last 17 years
