everyone needs friends, mine have helped me in the past 7 months, keep them close and look after them.

True some of my best friends have been met through the org, and I have not had the honour of meeting yet.

When I live the Raf I am planning on taking a trip around the country to see and say thanks to everyone from here who has helped me

Shell, go for a walk in the park, sit in a nice spot for a while and look at all the stuff around you. Just sit there watching your world. You'll realise that it's still going round... "This too shall pass", but it will help loads if you grab your world with both hands and turn it the way you want it to go.

Take it easy, focus on the good stuff and allow it to come to you.

Oh and if you are a little low at the mo, just think of it as a point that makes the highs seem so high ... if there were no lows, then there would be no highs .. if your are having a sh1tty time of it now, it means you can 'bank' this and you will be able to have a high soon

I am on a slight downer since the accident, after having an idea where the work & social life was going, its been turned on its head completely. Friends I thought were close have shown themselves as not as close I thought, whereas those who were in the wider circle have rallied and I thank them for that. I think when you've got an injury you do think a lot about how long it will take and whether it will affect you in the long term, but I am finding that by setting myself short term goals as well as looking forward to next year, it is keeping my spirits up. Dont get down Shell, life is far too short to be miserable, just pick yourself up and get on with it.
