Yeah, from what I understand there are two types, someone on here can go into exact detail I'm sure. I got this one off eBay, they said it was off a '99, but it wasn't the same 2-connector as my original one, and I couldn't be bothered to rewire it.

So... I got another one that had the right connector.

Depends. How many wires does it have.

You need one with 3 phase wires, a live and an earth.
