No need for that sort of sentiment, he never said he was doing them past a school at 3pm...

You can still knacker a triallie by standing it on it's ar$e for half an hour.

If you want to wheelie get something more suitable though, it's a known problem on the SV's and it's why the later engines had a different splash plate design.

I haven't heard about a modification, but if there is it'll be a total strip down job to fit, which on a working engine is very intrusive with the attendant risk of something not sealing right etc. + cost of all gaskets

If you put your location in your profile we'll be able to give you more specific advice but, looking at your posts and the fact you talk in dollars not pounds in your post above. I reckon your from across the pond, you might have more luck for spares on www.svrider.com than on here as we're primarily a UK based site where svrider is more US based.

HTH and good luck sorting it out.

Edit - Just seen your post above, try svrider.com you might have more luck on there spares wise. But dont be a stranger on here

Yup have a look on svrider, if anyone's got anything for sale over here at right money then the shipping will be a fortune anyway.

Says who? If that were the case, all bike would have Factory fitted anti-wheelie devices as standard

Don't trials bikes have motors

Yes i have atch an RS125 and a Cagiva mito.

Motorcycle manufacturers are not going to sit round a table and say to one another lets design this bike around wheelying..... its not going to happen so motorcycles arent designed to be wheelied.... modify it to wheely... yes but motorcycles arent designed for wheelying.
