Saturday & Helmsley/Whitby? (24th)

I might join you, although Im on nights so prob. wont be about until mid afternoon. I,ll watch the thread and might meet you at Whitby or Scarborough for fish and chips

Im on nights too so it cant be too early as I might need a nap.

So 11or12 would suit me best... Everyone else happy with this? Which one would you prefer?

Also meet at Helmsley (or if you want to meet on track then say...).

Hmph... I hope the weather is ok tomorrow. Its a little terrible at the moment here on the dales.

Met office looks ok. A little cool 13*C but not bad really. Not much wind either. No sun though cloud...

Forecast looks alright, cloud, with some sun on the northern edge of the moors, up to 18 deg C by midday.

Probably another silly question, whereabouts in Helmsley do you meet up? Or is it really obvious when you get there?

Meet on the market square in the bike parking bays, pretty obvious when you get there. Although you are meant to pay and display, so if the traffic warden is there I'd stay by your bike, or pay the £1 hit for a parking ticket and grab yourself a coffee from the bakers across the way (or duck into one of the cafes).

Just head for the middle of the town with all pubs/cafes/shops in a square and parking, theres a big clock tower type thing in the middle... Pretty unmissible, and normally covered in bikes on a sunny day.

I wouldn't mind coming for 11:30, unless its some private do for the established ones here.

Suppost to be leather shopping tomorrow at Hein Gericke in Darlo', oh well ... Wonder if its open sundays..
