Bandit 1200 wheel is similiarly easy, just needs spacers. I promise some day I'll actually get some sizes for that, I've been saying that since I got my B12 wheel in 2006, but never actually designed the spacers yet.

Mine is getting a CBR fitment Dymag magnesium 5.5 wheel in it Real Soon Now. Mainly for looks, but it'll also give me some weight loss and the wheel matches my front. 120/70 180/55 pairs are cheap and easy to buy used too, which is nice. But it's mainly cosmetic for me.

People who've never tried it will tell you it ruins the handling They are psychic.
So true they like to spout out but they have never ridden one with the conversion!!!!!

Here's a few pics to wet your appetite

While we're on the subject, do you know anyone who makes a lightweight tank hinge similiar to the one SV Race Shop used to sell? I came this close to giving them money for that one, felt dirty afterwards though. I know it's just 2 bits of bent ally plate with 4 holes in, but me and metal have an understanding- I don't make stuff out of it, and it doesn't cut off any of my fingers.

So it's an improvement?

Are you saying you will go back to a standard rear end, or 180?

I am very torn here, I am willing to do the conversion, but only for handling reasons, not cosmetics, but will it be worth it? Also, does anyone know of any GSXR kits as opposed to using Honda wheels?

More unsprung weight, gyro effect.
It will maybe feel slower to turn or more neutral, maybe you like this. But it's mainly for looks.

I wouldn't bother and spend the cash on some stickier tyres. Job Jobbed

And pointier profile for faster turn in, bigger contact patch, if it's good enough for people racing them...
