If they are monitoring facebook, they'll know about you and where you go on t'internet so I'd be careful about what you post on the .org they might well read it...

Personally in your shoes I'd unjoin the group and sit quiet about it and wait and see what happens, if you havent been given a disclinary just keep your head down and your mouth shut, especially if you werent involved in the incident.
^ what he said about 'unjoining' and lying low..

Indeed, but it also would depend on what you say about your employer ( person or company in general ) online... i.e. if you slag em off even in your own time they'll probably not be very happy about it. I know I wouldnt be.

If you have beef with your employer you talk to them and sort it out, you dont go moaning about it on facebook...

IMHO

Take your name out of the Group for a while just in case to cover your back. I know you shouldn't need to... that is what I would do.

had similar with the police.

it even came down to what other people posted on your wall etc.

would unjoin for a start, and take off any reference of who you work for.

Perhaps its your silence thats meant you havent got draw into it all.

Having had a look at that group. I'd be un-joining double quick smart, especially with all the details of the alleged incident being posted on it. If I was your employer I'd be fuming about that. Greviances are supposed to be keep private and not for discussion in that way IMHO.

Is there a union at your workplace? Are you in it?If there are several people on dcips your union might be able to register a dispute.Collective action is always more useful than individuals telling the boss to effof.
The unpalatable truth is that employers have huge powers to dcip and dismiss staff for all sorts of unlikely reasons with very little evidence of guilt,if any. What they do have to do is follow the correct proceedure at every stage and many firms fail to do so.This is where unfair dismissal claims are won.Better to never get to that stage though.

Fuming or not, it's a customer who has done this so there'd still be nowt you could do about it.
