What are parking lights for if you can't park your bike with them on without someone laughing at you!

Replace fronts with LEDs & you should be good for quite a long time I reckon?

I didn't realise they had parking lights, how do you switch them on so i don't end up the subject of a similar thread?!

I did this once, and because the tail lights are LED, when the it drains every ounce of power out of the battery!

Turn the ignition on, and you get nothing, no leds no display no nothing.

Jumped it off of my mates 6.0 V8 Monaro, had 'just' enough power to start my bike lol

I thought you could turn them off without actually using a key that fits, you just insert any old key part way into the barrel and turn the switch back a notch.

Years ago, on old Fords you could lock the doors with any Ford key, but you had to have the right one to open it.

I was so intrigued, I just went out inthe frikken cold to try this!

No you can't, I tried 2 other kwak keys & a 'onda and none of them could get anywhere near inside of the barrel, nevermind turning it.

Turns out it was a worthwhile exercise though.... I'd left the real ignition key in the lock

Cheers Lozzo!
